Oyster shucking contest Sunday May 2nd

Come to Putnam Sunday, May 2nd for an all day funfest of eating and.... There will be tons of food not limited to seafood. The Main Street will be closed to traffic so everyone can enjoy the vendors, music and activities. All the merchants will be open so come and see what the Main St has to offer. Brenda will be here in the shop to assist you. Come in and say Hi. The rest of us will be at the New England Needle Arts show in Sturbridge looking at new yarns for fall. There are still good buys on some lovely yarns at 50% off. We have lots of summer weight yarns for us die-hard all season knitters! Are you one too?

CURRENT CLASSES

We are starting Tuesday evening classes with Mindy Hansen. She will be here 5-8 pm and the classes will change about every 3 weeks. The first set begins in March and she is teaching how to make socks, two at a time, using magic loop. The cost is $10 per class. Mindy is well versed in most knitting techniques and is a very patient teacher. You will love her!

If you can't make a class....

Drop in anytime for any questions or project difficulties is welcome! WE do NOT charge for this service and you don't have to wait for a class to start on something challenging. We can walk you through whenever you need help.

There is always someone here to assist you,
don't wait for us to post a class, come in and tell us what you'd like to learn. It's about your schedule not ours.
Our philosophy is to keep an open table not have formal classes. It works for us and you, don't be shy, ask for help on your dream project. Anyone is welcome and we encourage sitting at the table and chatting and knitting or crocheting, whatever your pleasure.
