HOLY MOLY!!!

We made it through Super Bowl Sunday! Phew! What. a day!!! Fiber addicts from far and wide came to nuzzle and cuddle with our fine yarn selections. We met new customers from Worcester, Holden, Grafton,Southbridge and Brookfield and of course I got to see my "regulars" who I now consider family. Thank God for my girls and thank God for my customers! All of you made our Sunday extremely successful.

I had planned on taking some pictures throughout the day, but we NEVER stopped moving long enough for that to happen. (To give you an idea, we made a sale approximately every thirty seconds from ten in the morning till half an hour before closing). Here is what our table looked like fifteen minutes before closing:

Some people just couldn't get enough, I guess!!

Some of our customers brought in some of their finished projects to share with us. I am so happy to know so many talented and creative people. Here are just a few of them. Enjoy!
Here's Kim showing off her interpretation of my Mitered Square Jacket which was published in the Anniversary Edition of Knit n Style. What a masterpiece, Kim! And we have all decided at the shop that Kim should have been the model in the magazine. She is absolutely beautiful!
Just in case you didn't believe us!

Nancy Shay gleefully puts em' up to show off her exquisite mitts! Aren't these awesome?!!
Kathy McNeil shared her very pretty crocheted snowflake scarf with us. If you look closely, you'll see that her snowflakes are embellished with sparkly beads.

And here is Kathy's blue and white crocheted neck warmer. It keeps her nephew stylish and warm in these cold New England winter days.

Kim is modeling her lacy cashmere Smoke Ring Cowl. She took Sue's class and just whipped this little beauty right up.

Look at the detail work! I'll take one in blue, pink, black, purple............

Great job, ladies! We are looking forward to seeing more of your creations! And again, thank you to all of you. We would not be where we are if it wasn't for your loyal patronage, your support and your love of yarn! Now, on your mark....get set.......KNIT AND CROCHET!!

Buying memory is such a chore... You have to Google prices, filter through which ones are genuine, go out to a bunch of electronics shops, compare prices, finally buy your memory, and then fervently pray that the price doesn't drop in the next two weeks or so.

I've been screwed over by some ridiculous price drops in the past... especially this one time when I bought a Micro SD card for my R4 gaming flash card at what was apparently a steal, only to later see that it fell five bucks in a week.
