THE THIRD SPACE

Our knitting family seems to flock to us on days like this. The gray, damp, chilly days Mother Nature seems to be doling out with great delight makes us all appreciate that there is always a warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere at Woolworks.

Our friend Phyllis calls us her "third space", explaining that there is a space for home, a space for work, and a space where you can just sit down, relax and be yourself.

Here she is peacefully crocheting this visually stunning ripple afghan in her "third space". We are so proud that we can provide such a space for her and so many others. Our goal is to continue to do that for you.

The other benefit of having a "third space" is that you can actually sit and get the things you want to get done, well, you know....DONE!!! Here are a few examples of some of the projects our knitting family has completed while sitting in their "third space".

Stacy completed her Koolhaas hat after taking a class with Tasha. For someone who had never cabled before, Stacy did better than great. You literally cable every TWO stitches for the majority of the hat!! What an accomplishment, Stacy!!

Here is her grandson choosing the yarn for her next project. He has good taste, as far as we're concerned!!Kathy started crocheting this fancy shawl two years ago. Sitting with other knitters and crocheters inspired her to take it out and finish it.

What a stunning piece!!
Even her dog Taz is proud of the finished product! And here is little Sophia modeling the cupcake hat her Mommy made for her. She's so sweet, she doesn't even need the cherry on top!Too bad Sophia is a grumpy kid!!!!

We are proud of all of you and keep up the good work! Thank you so much for letting us be your "third space"! Hope to see you for our weekly Thursday night gathering!

Happy Knitting and Crocheting!!

Great ladies, conversation and therapy going on not to mention a relaxing atmosphere to get your knitting done!!!
